About Cub Scouts

There are loads of fun things that you can do as a Cub Scout. You will get a chance to try lots of different activities like swimming, music, exploring, computing and collecting. If you do them properly you will get a badge which you can wear on your uniform.
Cub Scouts also get to go on trips and days out, to places like the zoo, theme parks or a farm. Often you will be able to go camping with the rest of your Pack. This will mean you sleeping in a tent and doing loads of outdoor activities.

What a Cub Scout Wears
Cub Scouts wear a full uniform. Scouting is a uniformed organisation and the uniform tells everyone that you are a Cub Scout. For instance, people can tell what Pack you belong to by looking at the colour of your scarf. Our scarf is green and purple.

The uniform consists of:
Dark Green long sleeved Sweatshirt
Group Scarf
Blue Activity Trousers (optional)

How do you Join?
Perhaps you know a friend who is a Cub Scout...ask them if you can come along to a meeting and see what all the fuss is about. Alternatively, contact the leader (above).
We will be glad to let you try for a few nights to see what it is like. You will need to bring your parent/guardian along so that a few forms can be filled in. If you enjoy Scouting ( and many people do!) you can find out how to become a full member from the leaders.

What does it cost?
There is a termly subscription (subs). Full details in Useful Info
